27th Ohio Prairie Conference
— Northwest Ohio Prairies: From the Ground Up —
Maumee Valley Country Day School • Toledo Area • July 18-19, 2008

The 27th Ohio Prairie Conference will take place in the Toledo area on July 18 and 19. Our theme is Northwest Ohio Prairies: From the Ground Up. Presentations and concurrent sessions will be scheduled for the afternoon of July 19.
Conference sponsors are The Metroparks of the Toledo Area, The Olander Park System, and the Ohio Prairie Association. Other participating agencies include Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District, Maumee Valley Country Day School, and the Green Ribbon Initiative.
We invite you to send submissions relating to both the Oak Openings and other northwest Ohio prairies and savannas, including related ecology, flora, fauna, soils, geology, history, and other topics of the region. Presentations pertaining to general prairie habitats and topics are also welcome, including restoration, preservation, management, native plant propagation, etc.
Posters are warmly invited, for static display.
